From April 1 to 10, the ice sports test program for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games was held in the National Aquatics Center, also known as the "Ice Cube". Sweepers, the curling club of BJUT, was invited to the test activity and with hard extra-class training, won the third place in the group.

Formed in March 2017, Sweepers is the first university curling club in Beijing. In the past four years, the club was the gold medal winner in the first Beijing College Student Curling Championship and the runner-up in the third event. Being committed to promoting curling sport among teachers and students, Sweepers hosted the “BJUT Cup” curling competition and land curling promotional activities. On the one hand, students with no experience in curling obtained professional instruction in these activities; on the other, a curling culture was created on the campus.
