Journal of Beijing University of Technology (Natural Science Edition) was successfully listed in the comprehensive core journals of science, engineering, agriculture and medicine according to 2020 edition of A Guide to the Core Journal of China, which is the 8^th consecutive time that Journal of Beijing University of Technology (Natural Science Edition) has been listed. A Guide to the Core Journal of China originates from a Chinese core journal evaluation research project attended by many journal workers from Peking University Library and dozens of university libraries in Beijing, as well as experts from related organizations. A total of 9 editions have been published since 1992. It provides a reference for the library and information department to evaluate and order Chinese academic journals, as well as the readers.
