BJUT Launched "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Training

On May 8, BJUT launched the "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Training and Teacher-Student Co-creation Acceleration Camp to help students understand the rules of the competition, to improve teams' competitiveness, and to promote the application of scientific research achievements. As a total of 800 attendees, including BJUT Vice President Liu Jianping, heads of relevant functional departments, representatives of teachers and students, and representatives of other universities, attended the launching ceremony online and offline.

Vice President Liu Jianping pointed out in her speech that BJUT insisted on taking innovation and entrepreneurship education as an important way to improve the talent cultivation. This year's "Internet+" competition closely followed the theme of 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China. Participating in the competition would be a practice in response to the national’s demands for the scientific technological innovation. She extended the wishes for a successful "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Training and Teacher-Student Co-creation Acceleration Camp.

During the report session, Mr. Zhou Luohong, an angel investor, presented a report on "How to Enhance the Innovative and Entrepreneurial Thinking and Promote the Application of Scientific Research Achievements Through the Competition"; Gao Peng, deputy dean of the Institute of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, explained the rules of the 7th China International "Internet+" College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition; the instructor and leader of the Gold Award Project of the 6th "Internet+" Competition, Mr.Hu Jiangbi and Mr.He Lucheng shared their experience; Mr.Zheng Fengqin, CEO of Huifeng Investment Finance International Education Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd., explained in detail how to write a business plan.

Finally, guests and teachers patiently answered students' questions. With a better understanding of the competition, the participants would have the deeper overview and clearer plan for their projects.
