On May 10, BJUT and BBMG Corporation renewed their strategic cooperation agreement.A number of achievements of the cooperation between BBMG Corporation and BJUT have been applied to the green upgrading and transformation projects of key manufacturing enterprises and served for the construction of major national projects. These achievements have played important roles in leading technological progress, improving the environment and people's livelihood, building a waste-free city and science and innovation centers, thus winning many honors such as the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award.
The two parties have jointly undertaken many national, provincial and ministerial cooperation projects in fields such as R&D of green manufacturing technology and green product evaluation methods, and jointly applied for a lot of scientific and technological awards and scientific research platforms, getting rich scientific research achievements and good social and economic benefits. Moreover, the two parties have trained a group of senior professionals in material ecological design and application, which has strongly promoted the industrial green development.
Nie Zuoren, President of BJUT and Jiang Yingwu, General Manager of BBMG, signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between Beijing University of Technology and BBMG Corporation. The representatives of both parties had a full discussion on the future cooperation. According to the agreement, based on the existing cooperation in scientific and technological research and development and technical services over the years, BJUT and BBMG will continue to work together on their unique resource advantages in production, study, research and application; focus on achieving peak of CO2 emissions and carbon neutrality, ecological environment restoration and governance, green building materials products, green manufacturing technology, green smart buildings, research and development of new materials, etc.; jointly promote the establishment of a closer and more stable strategic partnership in areas of scientific and technological public technical service platforms, scientific and technological achievements application platforms, scientific and technological talent innovation platforms, scientific research talent training system, and the tackling of major special scientific and technological research problem; promote in-depth integration and development of university-enterprise resources in Beijing; work together to build Beijing's international science and technology ecosystem, and strive to be a model of cooperation for innovation and high-quality development.
