The Graduation Ceremony of 2021 Virtual Professional Development Program on World-Class University Development and Governance of Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) was successfully held on July 6. This is the first cooperation between BJUT and Nanyang Technological University (NTU). It is hoped that in the future, we will further deepen exchanges, and strengthen cooperation in faculty training, teaching and research, and personnel exchanges, to make more teachers and students benefit from it.

All trainees were divided into six groups, who, focusing on the theme of program, reported their learning outcomes from six aspects including scientific research and discipline construction, personnel management, student cultivation and management, informatization, internationalization and department management, offering suggestions for the reform of various undertakings of BJUT based on the comparison with NTU.

This program was conducted in an “online + offline” blended teaching mode from June 1 to July 6, 2021, with a total of 10 classes and 30 class hours, in which a total of 45 managers participated after preliminary selection and recommendation.
