· BJUT Co-sponsored the 14th Building Physics Conference

From July 8 to July 10, 2021, the 14th Building Physics Conference of China was held in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei, under the theme of "Green, Healthy, Low-Carbon, Smart", aiming to respond to the call of China's "Healthy China Strategy" and the goal of "hitting peak emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060”. The conference was co-sponsored by the Building Physics Branch of the Architectural Society of China, Tsinghua University, BJUT, China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd., the Key Laboratory of Urban-Rural Eco Planning & Green Building of the Ministry of Education (Tsinghua University), the State Key Laboratory of Green Building in Western China, and State Key Laboratory of Subtropical Building Science of South China University of Technology, and was supported by the Chinese Institute of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, Chinese Academy of Engineering, and guided by the Architectural Society of China.

At the conference, 365 articles were published and more than 720 representatives attended. Professor Li Yuguo from the Faculty of Architecture, Civil and Transportation Engineering of BJUT made a keynote speech. Professor Chen Chao, Professor Xie Jingchao, Professor Zhang Weirong, Professor Xue Peng, and Lecturer Zhang Xiaojing gave special lectures in the sub-forums. Xie Jingchao and Xue Peng from the Faculty of Architecture, Civil and Transportation Engineering of BJUT were elected as the new council members.
