On January 4, Chinese President Xi Jinping inspected the preparations for the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Beijing. At the Athletes’ Village, Xi spoke to the operational and service team staff and volunteers, and praised their hard work. He called on the volunteers to work wholeheartedly and strengthen teamwork to ensure the Games services run smoothly and to allow the Games participants to feel the hospitality of the Chinese people.

Twenty-one staff and student volunteers from BJUT listened to President Xi Jinping’s speech at the scene. BJUT is the only university providing volunteer service in all types of venues, covering twenty-one of the service areas.

President Xi’s inculcation has encouraged all BJUT’s volunteers enormously. They are full of enthusiasm to provide excellent services and show the vigor of Chinese youth to the whole world.
