The final of the 8^th China International "Internet+" College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Beijing Area) was held on July 23 and 24. After fierce competition against students from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beihang University and other universities, contestants from Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) won 8 first prizes, 24 second prizes, and 48 third prizes, ranking fourth by the total number of medals among all the participating universities in Beijing Area and seventh by the number of first prizes. Among the universities under the administration of the Beijing municipal government, BJUT topped the medal tally and scooped the most first prizes. In addition, it has been honored as an "Excellent Organizer in the Beijing Area".

BJUT's College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship cooperated with the University Science and Technology Park to obtain resources for the excellent project teams and to foster the commercialization of outstanding projects.

BJUT has taken the "Internet+" Competition as an opportunity to help students devote themselves to technological innovation and to promote the commercial application of more outstanding scientific and technological achievements.
