It is centered around BJUT's Pingleyuan Campus and radiates to the southern parts of Chaoyang District, including Jiulongshan, Shilihe/Xizhihe, Baiziwan, and Happy Valley areas. The goal is to build an innovation industrial belt and an innovative culture integration zone in the southern part of Chaoyang District. By 2025, the overall layout of the innovation zone is expected to take shape, with the establishment of the Shan-He-Wan-Gu Innovation Pilot Zone, focusing on artificial intelligence technology. It will become a regional pivot for the construction of the Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center. By 2030, in the southern part of Chaoyang District, an artificial intelligence industry innovation park will be established as a bridge head to effectively drive and expand the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. By 2035, several leading artificial intelligence-industry clusters will be established, forming an "innovation city" for new industries and will become an internationally influential hub for the artificial intelligence industry.
