On December 1^st, Félicien Avlessi, President of the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin, accompanied by Julien Segbo, Director of the Confucius Institute there, visited Beijing University of Technology (BJUT).

Si Pengbo, Director of BJUT's International Office warmly welcomed the delegation and presented an overview of BJUT's history, disciplines, global engagement, and international student education. He hoped that the two universities could enhance their academic collaboration, building on current exchange programs. He also expressed his hope that more students from Benin will pursue studies at BJUT. In addition, representatives from the Faculty of Information Technology briefed the delegation on the Faculty's international exchange and cooperation activities.

Félicien Avlessi thanked BJUT for the warm welcome and provided a summary of the University of Abomey-Calavi's history and current development. He expressed his keen interests to enhance collaboration through shared research and talent cultivation.

Following the meeting, Félicien Avlessi and his delegation visited the Faculty of Information Technology, engaging in detailed discussions with teams of relevant disciplines.
