From April 26 to 29, Professor Gábor Halász from Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary, visited BJUT. He was invited to participate in the Forum on Promoting University Technology Transfer under 2024 ZGC Forum, where he delivered a keynote speech titled "European Union Policies and Actions Promoting University-Industry Integration".

On April 26, Vice President of BJUT Li Jianrong met with Prof. Halász, accompanied by officials from the International Office, the Institute of Science and Technology Development, and the College of Art and Design. Li Jianrong briefed Prof. Halász on BJUT's basic profile, the features of its disciplines, and the current status of its international exchanges and cooperation. He emphasized that educational management and industry-university-research cooperation are key prioritiesfor BJUT, expressing hope for the enhancement of mutual understanding and friendship to promote deep collaboration between the two universities in talent cultivation, teaching, and research. Prof. Halász expressed gratitude for the warm reception from BJUT and introduced the basic profile of Eötvös Loránd University and the research progress of relevant projects under the EU Erasmus Mundus program.

During his visit, Halász engaged in discussions with faculty and students from relevant fields at the College of Art and Design and delivered a presentation.
