By invitation, Dr. O. S. Ganiyusufoglu, an academician of the German National Academy of Science and Engineering, attended the Forum on Promoting University Technology Transfer under 2024 ZGC Forum, held from April 26 to 29. At the event, he delivered a keynote speech titled "Transforming University Scientific & Technological Achievements".

On April 26, Vice President Li Jianrong of BJUT met with Dr. O. S. Ganiyusufoglu, along with officials from the International Office, the Institute of Science and Technology Development, and the College of Mechanical and Energy Engineering. Both sides expressed their willingness to enhance exchanges and collaborate in mechanical engineering innovation, international academic exchanges, and the nurturing of young scientific and technological talents.

During the visit, Dr. O. S. Ganiyusufoglu participated in discussions and seminars at the College of Mechanical and Energy Engineering regarding future exchanges and cooperation. He also delivered a presentation titled "Intelligent Machine Tools and Manufacturing of the Future".
