On October 16, the Zhongguancun "Spark" Event, part of the Zhongguancun Forum series, and the Daxing District's hydrogen energy industry achievement transfer and project pitching event, was held. Beijing University of Technology's (BJUT) Hydrogen Research Institute in Daxing District presented 11 hydrogen technology achievements on-site.
Hosted by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Science Park's Administrative Committee, the event featured seven project pitches and 27 displays, attended by over 80 representatives from government agencies, universities, hydrogen energy companies, and investment institutions.
Associate Professor Miao Yang from BJUT's College of Mechanical and Energy Engineering presented the project "AI-Driven Hydrogen Safety Monitoring and Applications", sharing insights into the analysis of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle sealant damage mechanism and intelligent lifespan prediction, and highlighting his team's recent advances in "Intelligent Monitoring and Visualization Technology for Hydrogen Safety."
Research teams from BJUT’s departments of Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical and Energy Engineering, and Chemistry and Life Science presented ten projects through graphic displays, showcasing recent breakthroughs in standardized fuel cell testing, high-performance fuel cell technology, proton exchange membrane technology for hydrogen fuel cells, anion exchange membrane water electrolysis for hydrogen production, ammonia-to-hydrogen conversion technology, green hydrogen photocatalyst construction, applications of hydrogen in advanced aluminum alloy production, and data-driven optimization and intelligent control of energy consumption in new energy vehicles.
