The Beijing Municipal Education Commission recently announced the winners of the 2024 Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards and Young Teacher Achievement Awards. Prof. Wang Yali from BJUT’s College of Materials Science and Engineering and Prof. Zhang Liguo from the College of Information Science and Technology both received the 20th Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award. In addition, Associate Prof. Xiong Wen from the College of Architecture and Urban Planning and Prof. Yuan Tao from the College of Mechanical and Energy Engineering were both recognized with the 8th Beijing Young Teacher Achievement Award of Higher Education.

The Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards have been organized by the Ministry of Education since 2003. To date, BJUT faculty members have received 39 Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards and 15 Beijing Young Teacher Achievement Awards.
