On November 27, He Ming, Secretary of the CPC BJUT Committee, warmly welcomed the delegation and made these remarks during a meeting with the Director of the Prince Hun Sen and Madame Hun Sen Scholarship Association’s International Student Affairs Office, and H.E. Lau Vann, Cambodia's Secretary of State for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. Vice President Chen Shujun also attended the meeting.
He Ming warmly welcomed the delegation and highlighted BJUT’s strengths in areas such as materials science, intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and civil engineering. He also introduced the University's educational programs. Noting that this year marks the Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year, BJUT will seize this opportunity to strengthen exchanges with Prince Hun Sen and Madame Hun Sen Scholarship Association, enhance cooperation, and make great contributions to Sino-Cambodian friendship.
Lau Vann thanked BJUT for its warm welcome and conveyed a letter of appreciation from Dr. Pich Chanmony, Chairwoman of the Prince Hun Sen and Madame Hun Sen Scholarship Association, recognizing the University’s efforts in educating Cambodian students. He also outlined the Association’s work and announced plans to send more talented Cambodian youth to study at BJUT. Lau Vann expressed hope that this visit would further strengthen cooperation between both parties and promote China-Cambodia friendship.
