Personal Statement

He has been engaged in the structural design, MOCVD material epitaxial growth, device preparation and theoretical simulation analysis of optoelectronic devices such as high power semiconductor laser, high brightness LED, resonant cavity led and vertical cavity surface emitting laser. He has won the First Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award in 2010. He was awarded "Young and Middle-Aged Outstanding Teacher of Beijing" and his research was supported by "Special fund for Excellent Talents of Beijing". The project result of "High-Performance LED Materials and Devices" that he has participated as core member has been successfully put use in industry. He has undertaken or participated in more than 20 national and provincial projects, and published more than 130 papers in academic journals.
