Personal Statement

Haiyan Zhou, an assistant professor inFaculty of Information Technology obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Hunan Normal University and Ph.D. Degree in Psychology from Beijing Normal University. Then she became a visiting scholar in Peking University and Carnegie Mellon University. Her research interests focus on the cognitive neuroscience, especially using the AI methods to enhance the understanding of human cognition. She is also exploring the ways to assess and predict the development of mental diseases by combining cognitive neuroscience and AI.
