Personal Statement

Jinfu Yang received the Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and intelligent systems from National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2006. He is currently a professor with the Faculty of Information Technology(FIT), Beijing University of Technology(BJUT), Beijing. As a visiting scholar, he worked one year (from Jul. 2013 to Jul. 2014) at department of Systems Design Engineering in University of Waterloo. His current research interests include Artificial Intelligence, computer vision and robot navigation.
