Personal statement
Chen Feng is born in Yongtai, Fujian in 1985. He is a doctor of sociology, professor, graduate supervisor in the field of sociology, social work, public administration. Now he is the director of the Department Of Social Work in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Beijing University of Technology. He graduated from the Department of Social Sciences of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and China Rural Governance Research Center in 2013, Chen is currently chairing (including completing) 2 projects funded by National Social Science Fund and 2 by Beijing Social Science Fund, as well as a number of projects commissioned by Beijing Municipal Social Work Commission, Civil Affairs Bureau, Chaoyang District Organization Department, etc. He also has conducted field investigations in urban and rural communities in more than 10 provinces and cities nationwide for more than 600 days. More than 30 papers have been published in CSSCI publications such asChinese Journal of SociologyandChina Rural Survey. His papers have been reprinted and abstracted more than 10 times in full text byPhotocopy of Newspapers and Periodicalsby Renmin University of China andChinese Social Sciences Digest. Relevant research has been listed as internal reference by relevant government departments. In addition, he published academic reviews or academic essays in over 10 media includingPeople's Daily, CCTV,China Social Science News, www.gmw.cn, thepaper.cn, and caixin.com.
