Personal Statement
Tan Baiping, born in Leiyang, Hunan, obtained his master’s degree in law and doctor of law in the Renmin University of China in 2001 and 2007 respectively. He was also the visiting scholar to the College of Law at National Chengchi University (2014.9-12) and the College of Law in University College Dublin (2016.6-8).
His main academic achievements include the Research on the Legal System of Marine Resources Protection (Monograph), China Energy Law (Co-Author), and Environmental Law (Fifth Edition) (Second Editor). He has finished more than 40 academic papers and published them in journals such as Law Journal, Politics and Law, Natural Resources Forum, Social Science Research, and Journal of Beijing Normal University (Social Science Edition).
