Personal Statement

Qi Shuyu, female, born in 1984, is a researcher and a postgraduate advisor at Beijing University of Technology. She has presided over more than 10 national and provincial projects, including the National Social Science Fund Project, the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education, and the Beijing Social Science Fund. She has published more than 20 academic articles in CSSCI and SSCI journals such as Tsinghua Journal of Education, and Journal of Higher Engineering Education Research. She has also published 3 monographs, participated in writing 6 books, and participated in more than 10 provincial and ministerial level projects. Her academic work focuses on engineering education, science and education integration, and other topics. In 2017, she was selected for the "Rixin Talent Cultivation Program" of Beijing University of Technology. In 2019, she was named as a "Young Top-notch Talent in Beijing Municipal Universities". In 2023, she was selected as a "Young Talent in Science and Technology Think Tank". Currently, she serves as an expert member of the 6th Academic Committee of Education Planning, a council member of the 7th Education Management Branch of the Chinese Education Association, a reviewer for Qeios and Studies in Higher Education (SSCI), and a full-time researcher at the Capital Engineering Education Development Research Base.
