Personal Statement

Gao Jie, assistant professor and master's supervisor, national registered urban and rural planner, UNC-CH visiting scholar, expert of the capital's high-end think tank, got her doctor’s degree from the School of Architecture, Tianjin University in 2018. She committed to research in urban and rural green development and spatial governance. She has won awards such as the Capital High end Think Tank Council Major Research Achievement Award, Beijing's "Fourteenth Five Year" Plan Preparation Excellent Advisor, and Jinjingchang China Urban Planning Excellent Paper Award. She presided over 4 provincial and ministerial level projects, published more than 20 papers. Her report received affirmative instructions from the main leaders of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and the Beijing Municipal People's Government.
