Personal statement

Ling Qi is the Lecturer and Master tutorof College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP), Beijing University of Technology (BJUT), obtaining her PhD degree from Beijing Forestry University, Beijing. She studied with academician Meng zhaozhen for his doctor's degree and professor Wang shaozeng for his master's degree. From 2004 to 2015, She worked in the second institute of landscape architecture, Tsinghua Tongheng Planning and Design Institute Co., LTD., Beijing. From 2015 till now, she has been the project consultant of the second institute of landscape architecture and the sixth branch institute of architectural design and research institute of Tsinghua University. She is now contributing editor of Chinese landscape architecture and landscape architecture.

Since 2004, She has published about 30 papers in domestic and foreign journals and conferences, participated in the compilation of 3 books, presided over and participated in 6 vertical projects such as national natural science foundation of China. Individual design awards mainly include the gold award of shuiyu village project in the 4th Beijing vocational skills competition youth architectural creative design competition in 2016 and the gold award of "tengtou cup" national young landscape architect competition in 2004.Presided over and participated in more than 70 national, provincial and municipal important projects, with rich experience in project management, design and construction on site. The project has won many awards at home and abroad, such as American landscape architects association (ASLA) landscape design award, BALI national landscape architecture annual award (international) gold award, silver award, Beijing excellent engineering third prize and Beijing excellent urban and rural planning and design third prize.She also serves as the leader of the party group of the planning department, the deputy secretary of the committee of the construction and planning institute of the communist youth league. She has guided the student project and the competition to win 11 awards, obtained the 16th "challenge cup" the national university student extracurricular academic science and technology work competition first prize, the 10th "challenge cup" the capital university student extracurricular academic science and technology work competition special prize. She also obtained the school level outstanding class teacher, the university undergraduate enrollment advanced individual.
