Personal statement
Wang Yang, associate professor and master supervisor, received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from The University of York and Loughborough University, UK, respectively. After his Ph.D. study, he took a Postdoctoral Research Fellow program with a special focus on Intelligent Transportation Systems at University of Portsmouth, UK. His research interest includes the development of smart and sustainable urban passenger and freight transportation systems based on artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. He was a recipient of Best Paper Award from IEEE Conference on cybernetics and intelligent systems and first Prize of Science and Technology Award from China Highway and Transportation Society.
