Personal Statement

Zenghua Liu received Ph.D. degree in machine design and theory (successive postgraduate and doctoral programs and solid mechanics in master’s period 2000–2002) from the Beijing University of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2006. In 2010 and 2011, he was a visiting scholar with University College London, U.K. He is currently a professor with Faculty of Materials and Manufacturing, Beijing University of Technology. He has authored or coauthored over 160 publications. His current research interests include ultrasonic nondestructive testing and evaluation, electromagnetic inspection, structural health monitoring, signal processing, and smart sensors technology. He is a member of ASNT and CHSNDT.
