Personal Statement

WANG Ziming, full Professor, postgraduate student supervisor, has played an important role in the development and promotion of the chemical admixtures in China, especially for the development of polycarboxylate ether/ester (PCE) based superplasticizer. Prof. WANG is the inventor of more than 30 patents in the field of PCE, including two US patents. He is the inventor of “Synthesis process for polycarboxylate superplasticizer at normal atmospheric temperature” (ZL 201010515774.X) and “A preparation method of slow releasing type polycarboxylate superplasticizer” (ZL 201010033828.9), which have gotten widely accepted and applied in China. In 2012, Prof. WANG’s group developed a software for the design of molecular structure and properties of polycarboxylate superplasticizer V1.0 (2013SR018488) based on the reactivity of monomer for co-polymerization and certified by Copyright Bureau of the People's Republic of China.

Prof. WANG is now working on synthesis process of PCE by bulk polymerization method (anhydrous) and Kinetics of polymerization of PCE polymers. As the key member of the drafting committees of Chinese National Standards, Prof. WANG participated the work of several national standard compilation.
