Personal Statement

Cheng Shuiyuan, professor and doctoral supervisor, is the director of the Key Laboratory of Beijing on Regional Air Pollution Control, Beijing University of Technology. He is also the expert entitled to State Council Special Allowance and the leader of projects funded by the National Key R&D Program of China. He has presided over more than 20 major projects including the National Key R&D Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Research Program for Key Issues in Air Pollution Control, Beijing Green Olympics Air Pollution Control and so on. He has published more than 200 SCI papers on international major journals, 5 academic books and 3 invention patents. He has won the second prize for the national science and technology award and 7 prizes for the provincial and ministerial science and technology award.
