Personal statement
Prof. Sun received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Chemistry in 1987 and 1992, respectively, at Taiyuan University of Technology, China. Later, He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999. He is now a Professor at Beijing Key Lab for Green Catalysis and Separation at Department of Chemical Engineering in Beijing University of Technology. Between 1999 and 2003 he was a research follower and post-doctor at Department of Chemical Engineering, Delft university of technology, the Netherlands.He has published more than 200 refereed journal papers with citation over 2,000 and h-index of 17. He is also an editorial board member of several international journals.
