Personal statement
Yang Chunlan, associate professor and master supervisor, worked in College of Life Science and Bioengineering since she graduated in 2007. She is interested in medical image analysis special in neuroimaging. She mastered several research projects on computer- aided neurosurgery including the focus segmentation, localization, and predictions with multimodality images. She published several high level SCI indexed papers in neuroscience and granted several Chinese patents and one U.S. patent. She has been awarded Beijing Nova Program (in 2016), Outstanding young talents of Beijing Municipal University (in 2013), Excellent talents of Beijing Organization Department of municipal Party committee (in 2011) etc. She teaches C Programming for undergraduates and Programming in Biomedical Image Processing for graduates.
