Personal statement
Yiwei Zhang is an associate professor in Institute of Information Photonics Technology, Faculty of Science, Beijing University of Technology. He obtained bachelor and master in physics from Nanjing University and National Center for Nanoscience and Technology respectively. Then he moved to the University of Sheffield, and obtained his PhD in 2017. Before joining BJUT in 2019, he was a postdoctoral researcher in University of St. Andrews. He has published more than 30 SCI papers on international major journals, with more than 200 citation times.
