Personal statement

Professor Haifeng Huang obtained Ph. D atHumboldt University of Berlin in Germany. Currently he is in charge ofthe China’s Research Center for Economic Transition (CRCET) at BJUT. Dr. Huang is a leading expert on green economy transition in China in the areas of sustainable development, business ethics, green finance,corporate social responsibility, green leadership, and China Studies. He teaches four courses to Chinese and international students, and has mentored graduate and postdoctoral students. He has published more than 10 books on sustainable development. His book on Recycling Economy in Germany received national honors, which contributed to the Recycling Economy Promotion Law (2008) in China. In 2012, Dr. Huang was selected as an Independent Inspector for China’s Ministry of Natural Resources.
