Personal Statement
Liu Chao is a professor in School of Economics and Management. He has presided more than ten projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Social Science Foundation of China and other national and provincial projects. In recent years, he has focused on the social economic issues applied with systems engineering theory and technology, achieved numbers of pioneering achievements on optimization methods of social and economic system, such as multi-objective optimization method, fuzzy decision method, etc. He has taught more than ten courses for master and doctor students, such as Covering Finance, Financial Derivatives Instruments, Investment Banking, Securities Investment, Central Banking, Futures Option Trading, Financial Supervision, Capital Operation and Wealth Management, Financial Institutions and Financial Markets. Besides over 70 publications, he has also published three academic monographs, four textbooks of The 13th Five-year Plan for General Institutions of Higher Learning, like Financial Regulation. Professor Liu has also guided and organized many innovation and entrepreneurship competitions for graduates, and won four national first-prizes.
