Personal Statement:
Sun Yurong graduated from China University of Political Science and Law in July 1997. She went to Michigan State University from 2010 to 2011 as a visiting scholar.

She has published more than 50 academic papers such as "The Judicial Application and Improvement Suggestions of Punitive Damages for Intellectual Property Infringement", "Analysis on Copyright Infringement Risk and Fair Use of Online Game Live Streaming", " Study on the Copyright Law of 3D Printing"," Analysis on Copyright Fair Use of Fan Fiction", "Study on the Reproduction of 3D Printing Digital Model", "The Path Selection of Intellectual Property Protection of China's Cultural and Creative Industries in the Era of Big Data", "On the Conflict between Domain Names and Trademarks and Their Legal Solutions", "The Status and Countermeasures of Intellectual Property Protection in Cultural and Creative Industries in Beijing" and "Several Issues on Mortgage of Pre-sale Commercial Housing". She has also published over20 monographs, compiled textbooks, and co-authored legal textbooks and books with others, including one excellent textbook in Beijing. At the 2007 Intellectual Property and Technology Law Forum across the Taiwan Straits, she once delivered a keynote speech on "Conflicts between Domain Names and Trademarks and Their Legal Solutions". At the 2014 International Forum on Innovation and Legal System,she gave a special speech on "Legal Protection of Internet Privacy in the Age of Big Data". At the seminar on technology and rule of law on December 21, 2014, she gave a speech on the necessity of cybersecurity legislation in the era of big data. In April 2015, she gave a keynote speech at the International Symposium on the Construction of a Powerful Country for Intellectual Property and submitted the conference paper "The Path to the Construction of the Best Area for Intellectual Property in Beijing", which was published in the special headline draft of "China Net".
