Personal statement

Zhong Sheng, male, born in Anshan City, Liaoning Province, professor and director of the Department of Arts and crafts, the College of art and design, Beijing University of technology. Now the main research content is lacquer art and cultural relics restoration. In 1995, he graduated from the Department of decorative arts of the Central Academy of Arts and crafts (now the Academy of fine arts of Tsinghua University), and from 1997 to 2002, he graduated from the school of international commerce of peicai University of Korea. His invention patents include "manufacturing method of large lacquer gourd tire products" and "repair method of large lacquer ceramic fragments". His works include "basis of three-dimensional shape design", "lacquer Oriental Spirit - 2012 academic Nomination Exhibition of lacquer art", etc.
