Personal Statement
Miao Yang, Associate professor and master supervisor, got his Ph.D. degree from Beihang in 2014. Until now, he has presided two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and published more than 30 SCI papers on international journals. His research focuses on Prognostics and health management, Fault diagnose and fault-tolerant control,Servo control and hardware-in-loop simulation,Bio-medical engineering and precision medicine,Hydrogen safety monitor, TDLAS technology. He has coined up a core concept of “transfer learning” and applied for PHM, realizing high-performance membranes after a series of studies on diagnosis and prognosis. Graduate students under his supervision have been awarded three times national scholarships, Beijing Outstanding Graduates, Outstanding Master's Thesis of BJUT.
