Personal statement

Dr.Yuezong Wang, Professor at College of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Electronics Technology, Beijing University of Technology. He teaches computer language, MCU system design and image processing courses and supervise master students in mechanical engineering, computer vision and micromanipulation robots, at BJUT. These years, he made many research findings in the fields of microscopic computer vision, 3D data reconstruction, micromanipulation robots, microscopic shape measurement and structured light measurement techniques. Creating a microscopic vision model with a stereo light microscope, one of his interested research findings, solved a high-precision 3D shape measurement very well, for micro-scale objects. He also designed a lot of instruments related to his research findings as microscopic vision systems, microscopic laser-based structured light system, etc. He recently leads two National Natural Science Foundation of China programs. The research programs are innovating in the following research areas: microscopic stereovision, micromanipulation robots and 3D micro-scale shape measurement. He has published more than thirty SCI/EI papers on international major journals, and two academic books. His personal research interests include:

● microscopic stereovision

● image processing

● 3D shape reconstruction

● 3D data reconstruction

● structured light scanning technique

● micromanipulation robots

● 3D printing technique
