Personal statement
Xu Yonggang, professor and doctoral supervisor, born in October 1975, works in the Department of materials and manufacturing, Beijing University of technology. Professor Xu has been focusing on the research of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis technology of electromechanical equipment, as well as modern signal processing for many years. He has undertaken four National Natural Science Foundation projects, published more than 80 scientific papers, including more than 40 EI searches and more than 20 SCI searches. He has developed an on-line condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system for electromechanical equipment, which has been applied in port, coal mine, metallurgy and other industries.
