Personal statement

Yongsheng Zhao, Professor, PhD Advisor, Professor Zhao has long been engaged in machine tool dynamics, digital design and manufacturing, research on intelligent manufacturing units and key technologies of intelligent production lines. Cooperating with Beijing first machine tool Co., Ltd., et al in a long term. The significant achievements have been made in heavy-duty CNC machine tools, high-precision machining centers and intelligent manufacturing units. He received the Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award and the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award. He undertook more than 10 projects, such as major projects of Advanced CNC Machine Tools and Basic Manufacturing Equipment, the National Natural Science Foundation and Beijing Natural Science Foundation et al. Professor Zhao has published more than 30 academic papers and 10 national invention projects. Guiding undergraduates to participate in the "Digital Design Competition of Mechanical Products" and won the first prize more than 10 times.
