Personal Statement

Chen Ziyong, male, professor, doctoral supervisor, graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), majoring in casting in 1988, received his master's degree in casting from HIT in 1991 (guaranteed), and stayed in HIT as a teacher in the same year, and got his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Materials Processing of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in 1998, and entered into the Postdoctoral Station of Institute of Metals of Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMSC) as a researcher in 1999 for a period of two years. In 2005, he went to Ulm University in Germany as a visiting scholar for two years, and was appointed as a senior research scientist at the same time. In July 2008, he was transferred to the College of Materials Science and Engineering of Beijing University of Technology. He has presided over and undertaken a number of major national science and technology public relations and assembly pre-research projects from the 7th Five-Year Plan to the 11th Five-Year Plan, National Natural Science Foundation of China, key horizontal science and technology public relations projects, National 863 Excellent Team Programme, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Industrial Transformation and Upgrading Strong Foundation Project. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the industrial transformation and upgrading of the strong foundation project. He has published more than 150 academic papers at home and abroad, authorised more than 30 patents and won 4 provincial and ministerial awards. He has co-authored the national planning textbook "Principles of Material Processing" in the "Tenth Five-Year Plan". He is currently a member of the Chinese Society of Titanium Alloys, a member of the Chinese Foundry Committee, and a member of the Heilongjiang Province Biomedical Materials Committee.
