Personal Statement

Bang Xu, Lecture and master supervisor, got her Ph.D. degree from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) in 2014. She then worked as a postdoctoral research scholar in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at University of Wyoming from July. 2015 to July. 2018, and in the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences from Mar. 2019 to Mar. 2021. She moved to Beijing University of Technology in June. 2021.

As a PI or Co-PI, her recent projects cover the areas of production of chemicals, fuels and hydrogen from coal/biomass/plastic, photo-thermal/ plasma catalytic conversion of biogas/lignin/biomass as well as chemical looping pathway, carbon footprint and exergy analysis for hydrogen production from coal and municipal solid waste gasification process.
