Personal Statement

Wenbo Du is Professor in College of Materials Science and Engineering, BeijingUniversity ofTechnology. He graduated from Zhejiang University in 1986 and got his Ph.D. degree from Tokyo University in 2000. As a Distinguish Professor, he was employed in BJUT in 2004, and was elected as a high-level returnee in 2005. Up to now, He has finished more than 10 national researching projects, published more than 130 papers and held more than 30national patents. His research interests include: 1) microstructural control and property evaluation of magnesium alloys, 2) design of bio-degradable magnesium alloys, 3) magnesium alloys and composites with highperformance.
