Personal Statement
Hongxia Guo completed her Ph.D on Materials Physics and Chemistry in 2003 from Science Institute of Northwest Polytechnical University. After postdoctoral work with Prof. Cui-xian Chen at Chemistry Engineering and Technology Postdoctor Work Station of Tsinghua University, she joined the College of Material Science and Engineering at Beijing University of Technology from 2005. Her current research focuses on biomimetic synthesis of new inorganic-organic nanocomposite membranes, manipulation and adjusting 2D membrane properties, solid polymer polyelectrolyte and high performance lithium ion battery separator. She has published over 70 papers and applied more than 40 Chinese invent patents, including two textbooks for advanced education.
