Personal Statement

Liu Xiao, Ph.D, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Beijing Top Young Talents, Chinese Ceramic Society "Youth Science and Technology Award" winner. He has presided over 40 projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Natural Science Foundation, Beijing Municipal Education Committee and a number of cooperative projects from enterprises. He has published more than 100 academic papers, 5 monographs, 45 granted Chinese patents, 4 granted American patents, 1 software copyright and more than 20 national or association standards. He has given many invited presentations at international conferences and workshops. He has also won many scientific awards and prizes, and established good working relationships with well-known universities and companies at home and abroad.
