Personal Statement

Dr. Dan Cui is an Associate Professor and Ph.D Supervisor in the College of Environmental Science and Engineering. She got her Bachelor degree from Tianjin University in 2008, and got Master and Ph.D. degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2010 and 2014, respectively. She entered Beijing University of Technology in 2017 after completing her post-doctor research in Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, CAS. Her research focuses on environmental bioengineering with special expertise in energy and resource harvesting from waste streams and development of novel Bio-electrochemical Systems (BESs). She has presided more than 10 projects, including of two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and one Beijing Natural Science Foundation project. She has published more than twenty SCI papers on international major journals as first author or co-authorand has been authorized a number of patents.
