Personal Statement

Jiuxiao Haoobtained her BSc degree in Ecology from China Ocean University in 2012, and her PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2018. Shen worked in Beijing University of Technology as a postdoctoral research fellow from 2018 to 2020. She is now an assistant professor in School of Environmental Science and Engineering of Beijing University of Technology. She focuses on the resource recovery from organic solid wastes. The specific research interests include: (1) Microbial disposal of organic solids wastes; (2) Anaerobic fermentation and pretreatment technologies; (3) Synthesis of bioplastic PHA by mixed microbial culture.
