Personal Statement
Huang Nan is an Associate Professor in Beijing University of Technology, and also a supervisor for graduate students in Environmental Science and Engineering. She received her bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University in 2014. During her doctoral studies, she participated in a one-year joint doctoral student training program at Stanford University in 2017 and obtained her Ph.D. from Tsinghua University in 2020. After completing her postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University, she worked for Beijing University of Technology in 2022. Her research areas include wastewater chemical oxidation treatment and risk control, safety assessment of reclaimed water quality, and high-standard industrial utilization of reclaimed water. She haspreside and participated in several National Natural Science Foundation projects and has published more than 30 papers in SCI journals as the lead author or co-author. She has also contributed to the drafting of one national standard and four local standards for Beijing.
