Personal statement
Chen Xuechai, the assistant professor and supervisor for postgraduate students, is working for the College of Life Science and Bioengineering of Beijing University of Technology. She has been doing research in the mechanism of Parkinson' s disease (PD) for almost 10 years and focuses on researches about endogenous neurotoxin, catechol isoquinoline synthetase, RNA methylation modification, and so on. She has published over 10 papers in international journals indexed by SCI and at important international academic conferences such as ACS Chemical Neuroscience, Neuroscience Letters, and Journal of Neurochemistry. Her research was supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Natural Science Foundation, National Postdoctoral Foundation, and Beijing Postdoctoral Foundation.
