Personal Statement

Lan Lin, an Associate Professor and Supervisor of Master's Students, achieved his Ph.D. in bioengineering from Arizona State University in August 2006. During the period spanning 2006 to 2011, he conducted groundbreaking research at both Arizona State University and the University of Arizona, delving into the intricate mechanisms underlying aging and neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. Lin's investigations leveraged cutting-edge neuroimaging technologies such as MRI, fMRI, and PET, alongside advanced morphometric processing and analysis methodologies. Since 2012, Dr. Lin has been an integral part of the distinguished department of Biomedical engineering at Beijing University of Technology. He has spearheaded a significant research project backed by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as two additional projects supported by the Natural Science Foundation of the Beijing Municipal Commission. Dr. Lin's scholarly endeavors have yielded over 100 publications, many of which have garnered recognition through indexing by SCI/EI databases.
