Personal Statement
Ren Xiaojun, a research fellow and master's supervisor hired by Beijing University of Technology. She has got a Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry from Beijing Institute of Technology and is simultaneously co-cultivated in the chemistry department of Tsinghua University. Her research focuses on nucleic acid analysis and precise diagnosis and treatment of diseases, aiming to develop new nucleic acid probes and amplification technologies that combine fluorescence, mass spectrometry, synchrotron radiation imaging, and other methods for accurate diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of diseases. She has published 16 SCI papers as the first and corresponding author in top international chemistry journals such as Chem, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Cent. Sci., and authored 2 English monographs; She has applied for 7 patents as the first inventor, including 1 PCT international patent, and 3 have been granted. She has successively presided over 11 vertical projects, including National Natural Science Foundation general projects, youth projects, national key research and development plan sub projects, Beijing Natural Science Foundation general projects (2), and Beijing Education Commission science and technology plan general projects, as well as 7 projects at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, with main funding of nearly 4 million yuan; She has selected for the "Beijing Association for Science and Technology Youth Talent Support Project" and "Beijing University of Technology Emerging Young Scholar", serving as a young editorial board member for Exploration journal (immediate impact factor 23.2) and guest editor for Molecules journal.
