Personal Statement
Hou Zhi-Ling, professor, mainly focus on research in microwave and optical materials and their devices.He has published over 100 SCI indexed papers in academic journals such as Small, Nanoscale, Adv. Opt. Mater., ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, Carbon and Appl. Phys. Lett., with nearly 8,000 citations, including 5 highly cited papers. In addition, he has obtained 4 authorized invention patents and second prizes in science and technology for twice at the provincial and ministerial levels.
He served as a member of North China Work Committee of Teaching Guidance Committee for Physics Majors in Higher Education of Ministry of Education, a member of Special Committee for Electromagnetic Measurement of Materials of Beijing Institute of Electronics, a director of Metamaterials Branch of Chinese Materials Research Society, an associate editor of Frontiers in Materials, and a member of editorial board of Sensors.
